Well I finally have my y2d Purple Sunset and I think I would of had an easier time corralling the top brass of the Taliban than it was finding this ax in Brooklyn, which I did not.lol But it will be here next week and I really cant wait. I would like to thank fellow New Yorkers Slav and Roubster for there PMs and leads. Now next stop is a double HH AL. This was so frustrating Big Poppa that I told my friend that has one of the oldest guitar stores -80 years in Brooklyn, he better do what he has to, to become a EBMM Dealer fast. Though he sells EB strings he has been getting calls for guitars every week. The only problem is it is a 3 generation store and though he is 47 and runs the store his old man still makes the final decisions. But a lot of us are keeping our fingers crossed. Well guys when it comes I will post a few shots of all my balls because I know if there are no pics they do not exist. But my credit card sure tells me it does.

Thats great Mike! I'm glad you were finally able to get a hold of one. I dont think you will be disappointed. I have yet to stop by that store in Brooklyn, but when I do I will try and push them to stock EBMMs as well . Looking forward to the pics.

Coffeemug, it is true. I have NEVER seen a Y2D over the past several years in NYC. Actually out on Long Island I think, but thats not the best store around...bloodsuckers hehehe.

Mike, maybe once u get it we can meet up one of these days so I can try out the Y2D for myself. Strange that Morse is the one that brought me to EBMM and I have barely played that model nor have I purchased one YET .

bazxkr I got the Flame and to be honest If given a choice I would of went with a quilt if both were in front of me but I was just happy to get it. I called a lot of stores and and even one I would not even step in for reasons I will not go into on here ,though Roubster knows what I mean lol. Guitar Center told me some nonsense that they only order the high end Balls so I would have to order it without even playing one which was not happening besides not wanting to deal with a wait. The funny thing is Brooklyn is the biggest borough in NYC and no one seemed to have one. My friend Mike that owns Maggio Music made a call and got it for me, on a funny note the guy Lenny that gives guitar lessons there happened to own 2 of them, a Black and PS so I got to totally check the guitar out before buying. I was all set on getting a double HH AL and always thought a Morse was a cool ax but it never made me feel like I have to have one, until I saw a big picture of the Y2D in PS on here and was blown away. Tone and playability are by far the most important factors in buying a guitar, but that is the best looking guitar IMHO I have ever seen. A real seductress.lol
