Access for VWT bands

Hey, Im going to sign up my band for the battle on warped for 05. I heard that bands on the ernie ball stage who aren't on the actual warped line up, get passes that basically just get you in and out with out any hassle. A friend of mine played the ernie ball stage a few years ago and he said the passes couldn't get you backstage anywhere, or in the catering area, is this true?

The passes given to bands playing on the Ernie Ball Stage at The Warped Tour do not get you access to backstage. They act as free passes to get into the venue, but also as a souvenier for bands that are selected to play.
