So, on my JP, I have the action at the 12th fret to 1/32". However, at the 24th fret, it's heading up towards 1/16". What steps should I take to maintain the same action at the 12th but lower it at the 24th?

I mean, if i'm entirely honest, the difference isn't very much at all. Should I just shut up and play my guitar?

I will tell you this. When I got my JP I thought that action was low but I wanted even lower. But after many thoughts I decided not to change original settings cause it would make buzz city from my guitar. It has some buzzing already so I think lowering it more would be stupid. It is still silly low when I compare it to other guitars I've tried.

So I've just shut up and I play the damn geetar ;)

What's your measurement at the 12th fret?

hmm I didn't measure that exactly but I believe it is 1.5 - 2 mm on the low E. Probably more 1.5 mm

Mine is about 1mm on the high e, and 1.5mm on the low E, btw, if we're talkin metric.

Wow, no one would have figured that from the mm :p

yes, I believe it is close to yours. Of course it goes up and on the 24 th fret it is quite higher but it didn't bother me that much
