I have a Sterling Silo 30 where I want to adjust the string heights, especially the high E is too high compared with the other strings. I have the string saddles as low as possible but that didn't help. And yes I've done all truss rod adjustments.

I suspect I need to adjust the bridge height but not sure if that's doable or what kind of tool/wrench I should use to adjust the height. Any advice, thx? I suspect the Silo 30 has a very similar bridge to a standard Silhouette.

Silo 30 trem is the same kinda design as on my axis ss and I never touch the two pivots holding the trem in place. Work it out with the truss rod and saddles height adjustment - it's the right way to do it and works perfectly for me. If you still can't get what you want I suggest to let the tech do the job. However from all the guitars I've ever owned musicmans are the easiest to setup and achieving right action and intonation is really a piece of cake.

Hmm, Ok I think I'm hosed then as I've done truss rod adjustments and the saddles are maxed out at lower point and the upper string or strings are still too high. Looked at the nut but that looked fine. And yes the two tremolo spring screws are in the same position as well.

4mm allen wrench, took down the bridge. I think the reason I could not get proper alignment with the truss rod adjustments et rest is that I usually change the tremolo to a floating one with a semitone range and that forces an angle on the bridge that then impacts the rest of the setups.

Posted this in case someone else needs to do similar adjustments.
