Hi all
My Ray 4 H has been AWESOME on the past 2-3 months of gigging.
It is in desperate need of a set of new strings. At the same time Im going to take the pickguard film off (no idea why I left it on) and and the barcodes off the back that are stuck on from the factory.
Firstly, easiest way to take off the barcode stickers? Just pull slowly?
After that, it will be treated to a new set of EB Group III Flats.
It may need a slight truss rod tweak. I assume I do this AFTER ive fitted the new strings. The strings could do with being a little higher off the board, (they are VERY low) so I assume the neck needs a little bow in it?
Secondly. It doesn't really need a 'clean' as I look after it after every gig. But, I might use the instrument polish and the fretboard condition that EBMM have put in my case (wonder wipes samples).
Is it safe to use the fretboard condition on the neck itself and the board? It is a maple board.
I assume the instrument polish is mainly for the body and chrome?
Silly questions I know, but I love this bass and want it right.
Cheers!
