Advice on replacement pots/wiring for Luke II to use with passive pickups

Hi guys,

After some quick advice.

I am replacing the EMG pickups in my LukeII with Seymour Duncan Custom/59 hybrid (bridge), Duckbucker (middle) & Lil 59 (neck).

My question is pot values. Does anyone know or have first hand experience on what pots I should use for these passive pickups?. Would 500k be too bright?.

Also will I be able to use the current 5-way lever switch?, or will that need to be replaced also.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Having installed these pickups several times I would recomend 500k for the volume.

I rewired my Silo (ash-body, no silent circuit) also with 500k pots. Sounds good and only slightly brighter than my AL HH or ASS.

Hello. Yes, you need to replace the 5 way switch, too.
