HowD EBMMForuumites, here I am still on rehab second floor and I'm at a crossroads and I'd appreciate your comments ... I've actually walked a total of about 40 yards on 3 trots in the last 6 days with the guiding hand of my therapist and the support of a 1 handed walker:)... but my left leg and left arm /hand are still seized tight with too much muscle tone and spasms:( and the doc wants to shoot some botox into me:eek:toloosen the tightness with the objective of allowing more positive and controlled active muscle functions to resume ... especially, he advised me that it may be my best chance of getting real motion back in my left arm/hand and therefore the best chance of hoping to play SR5 again:confused:

now I'm waiting for my accountant to swing by and cut me the "OK" to special order a new '07 LE Blue Dawn SR5 H/Piezo, but I need to hear from you catz what you think I ought to do ... 'botox or notox???

What would Beaver Felton do, or Dave Larue or Tony Levin or Nathan East, or You ???

All's I know is, CVAs are no fun and I need more PzoLovin' before I croak:D

Tnx for your support you'z'all!!!:)
/PL

ps ... All Blue Dawn Bass Porn is appreciated:p

I've heard that as long as you don't ingest it, it probably won't kill you, which sounds good.

(It is closely related to botulism.)

But I also thought it paralyzed either nerves or muscles or something, which is why they use it to combat wrinkles.

But hey, I'd listen to a medical doctor before I listened to ME, and so should you.

Keep up informed.

EBMM basses are the official choice on rehab second floor

Go for it. Your doc should know. If you're still not sure, look it up on the net.

hey youz'all tnx for the feedback, there is some inof on the net and I'll be chatting more with the doc while he gets his blowgun out of the sling:eek:
Meanwhile, some other patients and staff have caught me gawking at Blue Dawn Bass Porn and have all been sdvised the ky points of theernie Ball music Man, Slinky legends and the SR5 H/piezo is destined to becomed named as the official rehab second floor bass probably in natural rosewood/ abalone or possibly in Blue Dawn,rosewood/abalone;)
Tnx again EH?::cool:/PL

I would trust your doctor.....hot chicks get botox all of the time!

What he said! LOL. Definitely go with your doctor's advice. I'm sure he's there to help you out as much as he can. Hang in there man and you'll pull through. As far as the LE SR5 Piezo goes, I think its a good choice. Keep in good spirits and you're in my prayers, my friend.

The actual toxin is from the same organism. Yes. The idea is as Pzo said to loosen the tightness (otherwise known as contractures and spasticity in this case) in the muscles. So, he'll have hopefully fewer problems as his rehab progresses. Without the Botox, he could develop foreshortening of muscles which would immobilize joints. The idea is to prevent this from happening.

If you're not sure about a treatment or procedure, any good doctor would be more than happy for you to ask for a second opinion for your peace of mind.

Hang in there!:)
