Hello All!
I'm newbee here, looking for my first Ball ;). Can you give me an advice?
I'm choosing my axe from - Axis or Morse Y2D with Floyd.
Have played on Axis for some time - it sounds great, great tone, but i don't very like medium frets and neck radius. Also, that particular guitar have very stiff Floyd (strings were 10-46). It almost need the brute force to do the dive bomb.
Morse model seems to be more comfortable fo me - jumbo frets and rosewood fretboard. But I can't decide with Floyd - is all MM floyds (pitch-down only) so stiff?

In both cases, the tension is easily adjusted. Just loosen the claw in the trem cavity or remove a spring. Presto, smoother Floyd.

Both guitars rock. But they are different. I'd suggest playing both and seeing which neck floats your boat.

Well, in that case Floyd will go up. I believe that was very heavey used guitar, but...

There isn't any Axis or Morse in my city...
What frets (width & height), neck radius and back profiles do you like on a guitar??
i like flatter radius, big frets - i refretted my Fender Strat with 6100 Dunlop Frets...

The Axis has a 10" radius and high-profile, medium-width frets.
The Morse has a 12" radius and high-profile, wide frets.
