Hey guys, I'm new to the forum today! Last night I finally got the guitar I'v been dreaming of since i was in junior high. I got it at guitar center for what i think is a reasonable price. Its obviously a newer model. Could someone help me out with the serial number to determine exactly? Serial #G22641

And just for the hell of it; what would be a good price for this guitar? It is absolutly pristine and sounds great!

thanks

Congratulations! I too have been lusting after these guitars since I saw my first EVH. I finally got an Axis SS back in Aug. It is black with traditional trem. I absolutely love it. It just feels right. As for the price, Musicians Friend has my guitar for over $1300. I got mine new at a GC for $770. At the time it looked like they were getting rid of all their old EBMM stuff. Again, congrats on a great guitar!

It does just feel right, I know what you mean. I grew up playing a kramer focus that was my wannabe VH guitar. I dropped a X2N pu in the bridge and that was as close as i could get. I've searched so long for that guitar; I wish i never sold it. For the past 5-6 years I've been playing on a hamer. Its a nice korean made model, but the neck has that beefy gibson feel to it. It looks great, but I never warmed up to the neck. I thought I was just out of practice until friday when I picked up the axis.

There is NO way i could have waited 15 years to get my dream guitar. It would have killed me!
