I'm busting out my n00b question card, and I have two of them!

1: Are the knobs on the JP push on, or do they attach with a set screw underneath the rubber? If the latter, is there a good way to get the rubber off without damaging it?

2: I'm interested in using an EB volume pedal as an expression pedal for an effects device (a Poss PS 5 in "whammy mode"). Is there anything special I need in order to do this, or do I just plug a cable from the volume pedal to the effects controller in jack? What pedal is best for this application (25k, 250k, 500k, etc.)? Which jack on the pedal would I use, and would I need a stereo or mono cable? (Okay, that was like a million questions packed into one, but never you mind that!)

Thanks for letting me pick your brains knuckleheads.

Ok I can help with #2 you need a stereo 7 cable the hosa brand cable says tip on one side and ring on the other. They are basically two 1/4 mono cables that sum to 1 stereo 1/4. One mono side goes in the input the other mono side goes to the output the stereo end goes into the unit it needs to control. Check their website to see what pot value you will need.

#1 -- They are not push-on, you do need to remove the rubber edges to reveal a small screw which holds it on. Just be gentle and work it with fingers and maybe a very small flathead screwdriver or electronics "spudger" if you have one.
