Hello,

I am really curious about this guitar but I don't have anywhere local to try one. Can someone tell me about the pickups? Are they hot or vintage? And how are they voiced? I know they are custom Dimarzios of some sort, but aside from that I have no knowledge!

Thanks so much!

Jason,

They are the same pickups that are in the Axis and Reflex guitars. They are well balanced with a higher output than vintage and interact very well with the mahogany body and rosewood neck.

I'm located in Manchester CT, a bit of a drive from Rochester NY, but I have 2 HH AL models in stock right now if you are up for a journey.

Check out Blues Saraceno's demo for EB!

These are my favorite guitars that we make right now.

I would agree with this, it is my current favorite as well. Very cool voice to this guitar, familiar like the Axis but different. Even the Axis Sport with the same pickups and controls has a whole different voice to it. The mahogany and all rosewood neck are a home run.

I remember plugging in one when I was in San Francisco last year after I played a LUKE through a Boogie. It really blew me away with the fat and clear tone. Couple of months back I plugged one into a Egnater Renegade, and again it sounded fantastic. The pickups are really nice and the 5 positions give you a nice variety...the video with Blues says it all. I think I will have to get one somewhere down the line...plus the all rosewood neck is SWEEEET!
