Hey Musikarero,

Like IcedLatte I hadn't realized that was you from earlier youtube videos, ala your sss/MM90 ALs through the Mesa. Your videos were the clincher when I was on the fence about getting an AL. I actually got the guitar that you sent back a while ago (not yours, but a GC MM90 r'wood). It is an absolutely rich, grindy, and bitey guitar. Just wanted to chime in and say that the SamAmp is an awesome amp and it sounded great with your MM90. I don't have one personally, but have played through them and would love to see more forumites show theirs off in this forum.

Glad to know the MM90 went to a good home.....I REALLY miss that guitar. I like my AL that I have now but the MM90 was exceptional. If I'm understanding you right you got the same guitar I returned back to GC....right? If so.....was the trem still blocked with a piece of wood I always use?....LOL!

If I may ask, why did you feel a need to get rid of such a killer guitar?

Musikarero,

Nope, wasn't the same guitar. I got mine ~ a year and a half ago from GC.. it's just the same config. Sorry if I didn't make sense in my previous, I've got a cold that makes my head feel full of cotton. The MM90 was my first AL. I liked the feel of it so much that I got a used BFR AL less than a year later.. love the feel of those necks!!

@mtrejo: you missed Musikarero's marriage counseling comment in #20.

It was purely the lure of a roasted neck AL for a little less. I like my Black Sugar no doubt but there is something magical about MM90s paired with a rosewood neck.

Ahhh, the lovely roasted model yes. I am fortunate to own both, in MM90's. Each has their great qualities. Nice lateral move.
