This just in....looks almost pinkburst-ish in these pix to me:

FYI: I also came across another hardtail for sale in the vintage store at the Sam Ash here on 48th street here in NYC last nite (blue metallic, tortoise guard, some small dings, needs action lowered a bit IMHO, $899). It's the only AL I saw last nite, only saw an Axis and a Sport in Manny's and an Axis in Sam Ash and that was it - anyone know if either are closing the line out? Manny's used to have lots more...).

Just thought I'd pass the info along in case someone was interested!

albert lee red/pinkburst

Nice Albert Lee,
on one of the pictures it defenately looks like pinkburst but i'm not sure. The other pics do look more like red to me.

btw, did you ever see a white AL? Here's one, i found it on gbase.
It's located at 'Rockin Robin Guitars and Music' in Houston.

Yah I saw that one too, now that I like.

The red burst ones really nice too. See I like the configuration, but the shape throws me for a loop everytime.

I have the same configuration on my Silhouette Special and I love it.

Maybe someday when I have the extra $ I'll pick one of these up.

Hey Lock:

Nice to have a neighbor here in town!

To quote the local homeboys, "I'm representin' Queens"....(geez, always wanted to say that - glad to have finally gotten it outta my fishbelly-pale system!) :p

Appreciate the show invite and would love to hear ya take the Silo for a spin - unfortunately I've got a prior engagement already on the schedule that evening. Hope the gig goes well, and great to hear you're getting to make some noise down in The Bowery, though.

What's your band's name, and do you have a website or CD or anything else online we can see/hear?

Back on topic, I saw that white AL at Rockin' Robin's a while back too and think it looks great. Would be even nicer with a trem, tho!
