Man I love Yosemite.
Anyone ever go? or planning to? Had the coolest room at Yosemite Lodge (WILLOW building Room#4323). Totally unobstucted view of Yosemite falls. Nice sized balcony, tub, comfy bed. At the bargain rate of $95.00. Get it.
Found myself on the balcony watching the stars disappear one morning at around 5AM, about 40 degrees out. What better time to plug in?
Had my little roland microcube with me. Brought my guitar outside and boiiiiiiing, every string waaayyyyy sharp. Tuned up, turned the amp on really softly, and commenced pissing off people
Another time I went over to the Curry Village pkg. lot around 10AM. Only 5 cars in the whole damn lot! Curry Dining hall wasn't even open for business. Only the stores there. Plugged in and turned the amp to normal levels and serenaded halfdome, northdome, royal arches, glacier point.
Obviously, they all gave me a standing ovation.
