Big Al on AL BFR
It's taken me a long time to get involved in the Forum and for that, I apologise.
Sterling sent a couple of AL BFRs to the UK for me to evaluate, one with trem one without. I have to say they are exceptional. The trem version is the one that I use excusively now. Apart from the beauty of the guitar and it's quilted top, choice of woods and the toneblock seem to add more focus to the tone. As you may know, I don't use any distortion or heavy effects so the tone is really important to me, this guitar has it. I still have my 50s Teles and Strat but the ALs have become the standard for me, I couldn't imagine playing anything else now. Many, many thanks to all of the loyal AL players
