Albert is renowned for using his Pinkburst guitar.
I've been lucky enough to meet Albert on several occasions, what with him playing at the the UK Knuckleheads bash - in that instance he played one of the Albert Lee guitars on exhibit - which proves that the artists guitars are no different to those that we mere mortals buy from EB.
However I was lucky enough to meet him at The Globe Cardiff and was in at the soundcheck

Wow BP blew my mind with that one. Well as already stated he seems to favor that wicked Pink Burst of his, as when he was showing off his guitars in VG he said that was the one though BP is always sending him something new.Like Spud stated he has said in many interviews if he is doing a clinic he has just pulled one off the rack on many occasions.

I wonder if Dudley or BP ever thought of making a Reverse Al ? With the fins going in the other direction. Where the neck would go into the body, A scoop as to not lose the body shape and still reach the higher frets. It would kind of look like a 57 Chevy.

AL color
My AL is the same color as the first pic you posted. Wonderful guitar, was told that it was a NAMM guitar made in the mid to late 90's.
