The news has come out that Albert Lee will be doing in a clinic in the Great White North and I'm pumped about finally seeing him play.:D :D

BP how about coming along to check out the northern markets and play some bass for us Canuckle heads?:D

Get to see him and try to get to talk to him. He usually hangs around chewing the fat and signing things ;)

He is an absolute gentleman and a great ambassador for EB.

There are always 5 with 10 minutes. I think it a zoning law.:D

We have Tim Horton's down here in Ohio. I believe they're owned by Wendy's now. Makes sense, because Columbus, OH is the corporate home of Wendy's. BTW, TH makes my favorite coffee.

We have just narrowed down a window for Albert and his schedule. Calling him now to see if we can pull this off. If this is a go we will be moving the clinic dates up to the first week in August.

Albert Lee has confirmed the clinic run. Looks like it will be August 2-5. Wednesday-Saturday In the GTA. More details on store locations times ect.

You know it would be good to have a live bassist for the Clinics!!!!

It's not the L & M guitar workshop is it?

This year confirmed artists are: Alex Lifeson, Rik Emmett, Robben Ford, Duke Robillard, Billy Sheehan, and John Jorgenson. I was told today that there were a few more and was wondering if Mr. Lee is coming.

I don't know if the venues are set yet but I think they will be in Mississauga, Richmond Hill, Toronto and someplace in the east(?).

The local guitar shops are setting them up and they are responsible for the arrangements. I am only in the loop for the Mississauga location.

If it is okay with MM and the moderators I will post the venue when I find out about it.

It's likely the moderators will post a thread about the tour when dates are finalized. They've done it in the past.
