An announcement was made that Albert Lee would be involved in a guitar clinic.

I wanted to visit my nephew (a fireman in London) - he and his wife had a premature baby a few months ago and she was now doing great.
So I went up on the Sunday evening and spent some time with them all.
Always looking to seize an opportunity to "blood" new players, got "Albert" out and played a few lullabies
The next morning I caught the train to Londinium and spent some time around the guitar shops
Alberts guitar clinic was going to be held here
Anyways I get to the shop around 4:30 and meet up with the guys from Strings and Things who were appreciative of some help, so I restrung some guitars, polished them, set up the guitar stands and the posters. Yeah my guitar is next to the Pinkburst!!
Albert arrived with his son and had a quick sound check and blow me, he went through a Fender Blues junior the same as mine
I managed to capture the clinic on video but was a bit disappointed that one clip didn't come out - the one where Albert was talking about the BFR AL
Here's the clipsYou will have to turn your volume up when Albert talks - sorry!
I only saw one other knucklehead - Wee Gee who I persuaded to try out my AL
That's always the problem when ya guitar is used as a demo - sticky fingers!! A great night - one I'll always remember!!
Thanks guys
(Thread dedicated to the memory of my Uncle John J Jones a real character, a great guy who passed away in St Loius Mo this week. Gonna miss ya one heck of a lot. R.I.P.)
