I agree Phil, if I didn't jump on the black one or had some extra cash I would totally jump on the red one.. they are that good.

On a side note, this is the exact reason I am not after a EBMM PET, while the profile has grown on me considerably I am too afraid that jumping from the thin carve to the Axis/AL carves would be too much and one would get left out.

Good luck with the sale... wonder if you could trade it in to Pete or Guitar Center for something else... its not like the HHAL's are flooding the market right now.

I'm trying to find out if any GC's have the JPX's in stock. I still have another 15 days to return the AL if I want.

I have been a bit of the loop with these HH AL's.

Just a question - are the pickups the same as the Axis ones, or are they voiced especially for this guitar?

No JPX's at GC yet... but we will be getting them. If someone wants a HRR AL HH, let me know and I will track one down.

Good to know. They must sound darker in the AL due to the 250k pots as opposed to the Axis' 500k.

I wouldn't really know about that. I've only played an Axis maybe 4 or 5 times and never compared the two. I can tell you that the AL HH pickups are amazing. They've got plenty of balls, bite, and can be smooth at the same time. Love em'.

Hey, u talkin to me? NY
What's up Lonney! I highly recommend getting a HH AL. Tone/sound wise, it's the best Ball that I currently own. The guitar even sounds unbelievable unplugged! Phil's GC exclusive HRR beauty is a fantastic deal bro!

All the best,
Slav

I bought the Fiesta Red one a few months ago. Out of all of my guitars it has become my favorite. In fact, I bought a white one just the other day so I can have a backup on tour this September. :)

...and these are the rest of the guitars in my collection (except for the Reverend which I no longer own)...

...and my bass...
