Interview with AL in GP this month. He has some nice things to say about his guitar .

Actually, there were two surprises for me: he sets up his trems to float, and he's started using a .015 G-string. He makes a joke about how maybe he should tell Music Man what he's doing.

Typical Albert Lee interview, he comes across as a true gentleman. Mr. Lee really seems like a class act.

Thanks for the heads up, I look forward to reading that article. PBS ran CHET ATKINS: CERTIFIED GUITAR PLAYER the other night and when Emmylou Harris came out, he mentioned how Albert Lee was one of his favorite players

I've been lucky enough to meet Albert on several occasions - sound check at a local venue and at a guitar Clinic.
I was surprised when he said that he had the trem floating too!
At the time I spoke to him he was using .016 on his G.

Gonna have to go out and get the magazine!!!
