Interview with AL in GP this month. He has some nice things to say about his guitar ;).

Actually, there were two surprises for me: he sets up his trems to float, and he's started using a .015 G-string. He makes a joke about how maybe he should tell Music Man what he's doing. :)

Typical Albert Lee interview, he comes across as a true gentleman. Mr. Lee really seems like a class act.

Thanks for the heads up, I look forward to reading that article. PBS ran CHET ATKINS: CERTIFIED GUITAR PLAYER the other night and when Emmylou Harris came out, he mentioned how Albert Lee was one of his favorite players :D

I've been lucky enough to meet Albert on several occasions - sound check at a local venue and at a guitar Clinic.
I was surprised when he said that he had the trem floating too!
At the time I spoke to him he was using .016 on his G.

Gonna have to go out and get the magazine!!!
