While I am bugging you guys, what is the function of the third conductor from the
MM-90 pickup that goes to the silent circuit gizmo?

How do they sound differently from the "normal" ash/maple neck versions?
As I recall the stock MM90's were an ash body & maple neck... (I could be wrong about the body wood... I've slept since then...)
Makes for a very bright tone. The GC special run was mahogany body & rosewood neck... makes the tone a bit smoother & sweeter...
Call EBMM customer service and they can confirm the differences...

My old AL MM-90 (ash and Maple) was more Strat than LP Jr. Are the Mahogany/Rosewood versions closer to a LP Jr?

That's all I can say about it...
I own many P90 guitars from different brands, and they all sound a bit different... have their own personality...

I just received an AL MM-90 that was part of the GC special run with a solid Rosewood nech and Mahogany body. It does sound different that the Ash/Maple version I used to own. The Ash/Maple I thought sounded 75% strat, 25% LP Jr. This one is more like 50/50.
Fantastic guitar. Thus far I love it.
