what does the pickguard have to do with trem or hardtail bridge???? or am i stupid......

Maybe the cutout at the back of the plate where it butts up against the bridge is different depending on whether the AL in question has a hardtail or a trem ?

I dunno, the only Albert I've ever actually seen in the flesh is the one I own

You are probably in a better position than most to answer this one Rob, is the plate the same shape at the bridge cutout on a trem model as a hardtail ?

Surely other questions to also ask are:

Regular SSS config or MM90's ?

And, Piezo ? (They have an extra knob don't they?)

Hey Spud how much do you want for the pearloid plate ?
PM me if you're of a mind to sell it on
I've been thinking about maybe jazzing up Pinky a lil' bit.
Either just swapping the plate over or maybe even loading up the spare plate with a different set of pickups for some different sounds......

I do quite fancy a JB Jr in the bridge:)

Although of course if it does turn out that the plate for a trem model is different then it's not the right one for my guitar....

Ah this is where i came in isn't it ?

Hey Dr Bob
Mine is cut for sss and piezo and is for a trem - R2 has confirmed that the h/ tail and trem are the same.
You can have it for nothing - I'll pay the postage too, all I want is a donation to the Casey Lee Ball foundation, bearing in mind the great things BP said about it in the last couple of days - say half the suggested new price as a guide?
I'll pm you anyway with some more details.

I believe neither of those exist yet!
But we do understand that you've been quite preoccupied with other matters. ;)
