Albert Lee signed by Albert Lee?

It looks like my AL is signed by the man himself - can anyone verify this?
My recollection (FWIW!) is that I bought the guitar new, were there any factory signing sessions? (ie I haven't had him sign it myself). I think I bought it about 5 years ago.

If my memory serves me right, Albert Lee signed a few of the first BFR Alberts to come into the UK while he was in the factory, so if yours is a BFR and from the UK it must be one of those!
