Planning to catch Albert Lee in Chicagoland on February 24th - and I have kind of an obsession with artist model signed guitars (yes, Morse is my favorite, but have dozens of others) and I'd pick up Albert Lee model to take with me to get signed if he was coming out after the shows for that kind of thing?

Anybody caught him on this tour to know if he's "mingling" afterwards? I'm not too proud to do the "hang by the bus" routine, but sometimes the winter weather makes that uncomfortable! :)

Kevin, I saw him last year, brought my AL HH, and had to wait, but he signed the back of the headstock for me. He went out and then came back in and started doing signings, the die-hards know enough to wait. Very nice guy.

I've seen Albert quite a few times with his UK band Hogans Heroes. He has always mingled and signed merch afterwards. he signed all 3 of my Alberts on separate gigs.

See you at the show Kevin! I'll be the bald guy down front with the Goatee. Table 12. I can't wait! Interesting post as I was tempted to trade in my Reflex and AX40D to get an AL (can't spend any $) for him to sign but I just like my Reflex too much to do that.

Dang... I really wasn't wanting to spend the dollars on another guitar right now - getting ready to pucker up and write a BIG tax check - but this opportunity doesn't come along very often...

Of course by "opportunity" I mean the chance to hang with the inimitable edhalen! :)

Alright, let me get the guitar en route and we'll coordinate later.

Thanks for the feedback guys!

Kevin, this is crazy. You are buying guitar like no one else. :)

That axe looks pretty good, like the color.

Btw. Morse / Lee combination is great.

I only talk about the Music Man guitars here - rest assured there are others... :)

Yeah - I like the color of the guitar, the pearl pickguard, and the SSS will be a nice change-up in case I ever want to play Country Boy! :)

Spud - this is the part where you say "Welcome to the ALOC!" :)

Anybody else wanna see my new Al? Definitely wanted to go SSS to be true to the spirit of the guitar - and it's a beautiful blue: MusicMan Albert Lee SSS Mint 889406081383 | eBay

Well Kestrou, as senior officer of the ALOC what I would say is "That's a great looking Al, welcome to the ALOC, your Decoder ring and secret handshake instructions will be couriered to you asap …. And what took you so long!!!”"

I'm afraid my role working with Her Majesties Revenue & Customs in the UK doesn't extend over the pond so I can't get you lee way on that tax cheque!!

Anybody can get a backplate signed - go for the guitar - right on the front to show Al how much you love him - LOUD AND PROUD, BROTHER! :)

And be sure to report back - with pics - of how it goes as I'm just over two weeks from my show.

NP, I left mine in the car and went out and got it after the show was over, but in hindsight I wished I had brought it in with me, but it was a very, very small club with like no room.

The day has finally come....my first A.L. concert. Can't wait. :) :) :) I never would have heard of him or discovered his music if it weren't for discovering the fine EBMM instruments here and my fellow knuckleheads. Thanks to all!

All instrumental and absolutely amazing.

Perfect name for this cd btw.
