Well, I wasn't 2 ft from the stage - but it was a GREAT show!
Brought along a buddy of mine (non-guitarist) who wasn't real familiar with Albert Lee - and he loved it as well, commenting several time on how POLISHED of a player he was.
I gave him the analogy of a stone that's been rolling in the stream a very long time - it's those years that apply the polish.
Will get some pics up of my signed guitar soonest - and sorry I didn't get to connect with EdHalen.
Yeah Kevin sorry we didn't get to hook up. We went straight to the table the moment we got in the room (about 6:45 I think) and I was able to get the front chair (as you can see by my picture above) and I only got up once in between songs. BTW - after seeing your picture in the other thread I saw you racing back to the venue around the corner carrying your music man case. I pointed you out to the person I was with (my sister - plays acoustic) and explained what you were doing. She like your guest had never heard of Albert before and was blown away by how good he was. What a show! I owe you a HUGE THANKS for posting about the show a few months ago. Needless to say I jumped on tickets immediately .
