I just bought a beautiful Albert Lee with a serial number of 97935. Can anyone tell me when it was manufactured? thanks.

Dude you'll have to wait until tomorrow when someone from EBMM can help you out.

They are Pacific time, so bump the thread around noon time, or adjust according to where ever you live.

Oh by the way there is no guitar until we see pictures!!!!!!!

By the way, welcome man. :D

This Pearl Red Albert was done on 6/27/96

Congrats on the purchase, and welcome to the Forum!

I like the guitar alot but I'm going to stick with my Axis SuperSport. Every now and then I buy a guitar, bring it home and play it thinking it may dethrone my SuperSport. I've yet to find that guitar! The neck feels just as nice but I like the humbuckers better than the single coils. If the AL had humbuckers, well then I'd have a dilemma on my hands!

Kevdog, that's cool. Have you posted pictures of your ASS??

You should offer it here, you might be suprised and get a taker.

I don't have any pictures of my ASS but I'll take some, its a purple translucent. I just stumbled across EB guitars while I was shopping for a PRS. I was in Guitar Center and just picked up an Axis a few years ago and it just felt right. I bought an Axis and really didn't have a use for the Floyd Rose so I sold it and bought the ASS. I really love the neck on that thing!

No, bought it locally from someone. With all the music schools around Boston there's always a ton of gear for sale, especially on places like craigslist.

Yah I saw your guitar on Craigslist the other day and then it was on the bay.

Post it in the for sale thread man, you might be able to sell it here and save on the Ebay fees.
