with my new amp. Sold my 1993 Marshall 1959slp ri to pay the house note..(miss that one) Started using my Orange RV50 combo with a 1960av cab.. It was love hate, so I traded the combo, a Lab bass amp, and 100.00 for an Orange RV100 head. I was using the axis ss/hh at 1st, and loved it.. Then for some reason I started using a 72 Tele thinline RI.. HMMM.. A 57 strat made me smile, but when I plugged in the Axis, the amp just came alive. This rig seems to like single coils, but the Axis is the exception.. For every amp, there is a perfect guitar.

Shock horror!! Thought you were disappointed with yer balls!!

I bleeb you are right is that some amps make your axe sound particularly nice whereas others - you just can't seem to dial in a decent sound.

I see you joined in 2003 - been away for a while or ya just shy? ;)
