Some of you may have noticed I put my Piezo equipped 20th Anniversary Silhouette up for sale a couple of days ago...

Today I was at our annual Good Friday jam session at a local pub (for the german forumites: Frühschoppen;)), decided to bring the 20th as my only guitar for the session...we had lots of fun and not only was I able to get every sound I wanted, the thing almost played by itself...I nailed about everything I tried...magical somehow.
To make a long story short: Got home and instantly deleted my FS addy...not because it's a rare guitar and a soon-to-be collector's item but because it is pure genius and one of the best sounding humbucker guitars I ever had!
I felt such a relief once I deleted the ad I'm almost embarrassed I ever considered selling it...it was like NGD revisited!
I wouldn't swear an oath that I won't ever part with it but those 20th's really are gems that deserve every word of praise.

Good for you Patrick. I’ve never played or even seen one except in pics. They are defiantly going to be a collectors guitar in mint or players condition.

CM, nice man, sometimes it takes something like that to realize a regret you might have made.

Fing, you have any regrets? :D

I love hearing stories like that- good on ya man.

I have to say, my 20th was one of the best sounding guitars I'd played. Unfortunately the Silhouette neck profile just never felt right to me.

Nice Patrick, good call on that one, I have had the same thing happen with my Axis HT, tried to sell it, did not work out and pulled it back out, now it sits next to the HH AL:D

Glad you keep it, indeed a rare guitar. Now which one are you going to let go :p that MM90 AL (white) could be fine with my current collection :p

Thanks for the comments guys...to be honest it felt like a bad idea right from the start...

Sorry mate, not selling anything in the near future...in fact I'm thinking of doing the exact opposite...:)

good call! The 20th is just an amazing instrument. I remember when it first came out, and EBMM was working with JP with prototypes for what it would become the BFR, and that SWEET SWEET JP6 Caramel Burst came out. I never get tired of watching it on the Score DVD.

Enough with my babbling, but my point here is that IMHO that 20th is a milestone in guitar design. And you should always keep it! :D

Good call man! The 20th Silo is really something special. Every single time I play it I'm blown away.
