Hello, let me introduce myself: My name is Jan, I'm 28 and I live in Slovenia... I've been lurking on this forum for couple months now and I finally saved up enough money to order JP6 (pearl redburst, all but inlays):D:D:D

Right now I'm going through the hardest phase-- waiting!!! though it shouldn't take long since it was an Ebay buy but anyhow, can't get enough sleep :(

ok, here is one question for you, how often do you need to change battery for piezo?

that's it for now... oh and BTW, this is the best forum community I ever came across;)

Welcome to the Addiction!

Batteries can vary. Depends really. One way to pro-long the battery life is to make sure you unplug the guitar when you are finished playing....other than that, I don't think there is a "set" time on the battery.

Welcome Jan!

I would check the battery every 3 months or so depending on how much you play. I have heard that the battery will last for 1600 hours, but of course that will vary.

Welcome!

Can't comment on the battery as I have no piezo - although the one in my AL is still going after 18 months.

And BTW - have you heard of the AL??? :D

Welcome Sith - the battery will last quite a time - when it does give out and go dead, you will still be able to play the guitar - but of course you won't have the Piezo.

I have to try a JP at the knucklehead bash.
