So I have a couple of questions. One might affect when I order, the other is just a curiosity thing.
First for the potential delay causing question.... colors. There haven't been any color changes on the chart for a couple of years now, so I'm wondering if there is a possibility that new colors are on the horizon (I so want the mystic dream purple shade only color I can't even stand myself. lol) that I should wait to check out. I had Desert Gold, and the only color I can think of that MIGHT cause me to wait would be that kind of purple since I love DG so much.
My other question is about the pickup. I had the original JP7 pickup. That is now in some thief's hands and I don't have any access to it, but am I feeling a sense of sentimental nostalgia for my old pickup for nothing?
I've always preferred the Steve Special in my Ibanez to the revamped version, but I still liked how it was still relatively close overall when I switched guitars.
I can't believe my second Music Man purchase isn't a six string to go along with my 7, but a replacement for a stolen instrument. Add to that how long insurance took to decide anything, and now there is no way I can get one made in time for an upcoming gig that I really need it for. I'd sure like to skin whoever broke in to our house that's for sure.
