Okay, so I want pretty much one of each model of guitar that EBMM makes.

However, for the past few days I've been giving the 20th Ann. Silo a lot of attention. It's so freakin' good that I wish I had another one with piezo. It's sort of irrational, because I still want an AL, a Luke, an ASS, and a regular Silo. Argh...It's madness! :)

So, am I crazy?

Maybe I'm delusional..but it makes sense to me. I'd get another Super Sport if I could...only this time with MM90's.

Rob, do you have any available sound clips comparing the Silo and an Al? I'd be really interested

The AL and Silo Special ( both SSS ) do sound similar, naturally. However the extra bit of class that the AL has in feel puts it above in my book. Am working on clips.

Rob, if you do find a 20th w/piezo you should jump on it, rare as they are. AL can be bought anytime.

Yes, the piezo version of the 20th is really nice. I count myself quite fortunate to have acquired one.

No you're not. I know EXACTLY where you're coming from. I bought one, maple and trem, no piezo. Then it hit me, and I hunted for a RW with piezo and trem, and I got one. And I still feel like buying one more now with RW and hardtail.

Damn...:(

P.S. here's something to add to your GAS:

The piezo model is difficult to find. I called one dealer that had four 20ths in stock, including a piezo version. I decided to think about it and when I called back a couple of days later two were gone, including the piezo. I snagged the last tremolo version they had.

Out of the 366 20th made only 39 of them have piezo!
Being only around 10% of your chances, I'd grab one!

You're not crazy at all for wanting another one, especially with the piezo.

I played my 20th with piezo at rehearsal last night, it's just a magnificent guitar.

This one has been on craigslist for about a month now. I would get it if I didn't have one already. (It's in Orange County, CA near Los Angeles).

I am selling a NEW MusicMan Silhouette 20th Anniversary model guitar (w/PIEZO system and special factory case)---a serious piece. Very cool design, and of course exceptional playability and sound. This will come to you NEW W/ WARRANTY, NOT AS A SECOND & of course has the highest playability you'd expect from Music Man. It has most of the same features as the regular Silhouette, w/ a few upgrades such as the optional amazing Piezo system that makes the guitar sound like an acoustic. You won't be disappointed. No lowballers or international buyers. thanks!

Rob your not crazy at all man, if I had the $ I'd try to pickup a rw fretboard one, but it's not in the card for a long time for me man.

If you've got the $, go for it.

I have a trem/rosewood/piezo and came very very close to ordering a hardtail/maple model at the same time. I can understand the GAS - once you've played a 20th you realize how special it is!

I had a regular 20th and grabbed a 20th with piezo a little while ago. The piezo has been my main with the non-piezo 20th pulling secondary duty. So nice to play a gig and switch guitars for alternate tunings and have the same killer tone. You arent crazy at all. The 20th is the perfect guitar for me.
