I just noticed Luke on twitter, he's going to the EBMM factory today to work on the Luke III, exciting stuff.
Great day for Luke fans. man, this band is in France, all you guys in Europe should catch them live!

I'm surprised Tung, that Luke is such a huge inspiration to you and you have yet to pick up a Luke and don two JP models. Is something with the Luke that doesn't match well with you?

Sorry for the hijack. Those covers were great by the way. Awesome covers!

You're right, Steve! I prefer the forearm scoop and the neck on the JP, especially on those long gigs. But the neck on the Luke is cool too. In a perfect world, I would own both :D
And yes, Lukather is a big influence. He's one of the main reason I play EBMM, just not his model at the moment, lol

I was really curious about the jazzy outro from the original and how they did it. And I have to say: great, really great, also fantastic piano playing.

Rainer

I love what they did on the outro. they can jam on the tune and improvise in the spirit of Toto live, just great musicianship.
I also like the laid back intro they did before the drums kick in, just like the Paris DVD. the band groove like mad.
