Hey everybody! I've been away for awhile doing some neat guitar things. Hopefully I can talk more about EBMM at some point. Here is a looping with effects video I made with my MusicMan Steve Morse Y2D. Everything was done live into a mono guitar amp. Enjoy!

So what loopers are you using?

There appears to be some issue with the audio quality.

No issue with the audio. I'm using a BOSS Slicer pedal into the Boomerang Phrase Sampler. The Slicer pedal intentionally slices the guitar to the beat.

I think Morse Y2Ds are the guitars that could get the job done with all kinds of genres including ambient and experimental guitar work. Not just rock.

Totally agree. It works really well for looping because you can layer so many different guitar tones. I've also always favored solid body guitars when using lots of effects because it's hard to bend down and adjust setting on the floor with a jazz box or 335.

My Floyd Rose Y2D is the most sensitive floyd rose tremolo system I ever played -- and it still goes quickly back to zero point and stays in tune. Another plus for this guitar for experimental music use.
