i got 3 guytrons i swear by.......1 stays in the studio...one stays in the equipment trailer for live......and one stays home for reheasals & whatever.

the reverend sounds REALLY good for a combo.....and for the money....great sounding $4$ .....

the obrien i haven't heard yet.....but morse told me about them a while back..think they are still tweeking them. REALLY expensive ........how do ya like that channel switching in this baby !!!!!

i've also played morse's 50 watt carvin tweed head through his studio rig.... it has a KILLER solo tone. they may not make the head only any more.....but the combo should be the same. price is good too !!!

If you're happy with your tone on the Guytrons, and if it's a very reliable amp, i wouldn't worry about those other amps. Just my opinion.

i'm not ......i was just sharing amp auditions for folks out there lookin for good amps to try.....i realize now my title to this thead confuses that point..... sorry.... :D

Got Kingsnake and like it alot. I now have Goblin on the way.

I recieved my Dr. Z MAZ 38 2/12 Invasion today. I have had many different amps over the years and I think this is the best one yet. I have only played it a couple of hours, but I am sold. It was between this amp and the Carr Imperial and this one just had that great rock/blues singing tone that is perfect with my Super Sport MM90.
