I had seen a Sterling 5HH PDN on Bass Central's site and I really wasn't aware of this limited edition, having been away from the forum for a while. I DID see a nice Bongo 6 in Mahogony somewhere, but didn't research it - thought it was a one-off custom or artist model. I do prefer the Sterling 5H, having tried the HH and HS - and I just bought a 5H in tobacco burst about a month ago and posted it here. Then I happened to look at the PDNs on Bass Central, saw this 5H at 9 lbs and had to have it. I just got it yesterday! This is an amazing bass - a keeper for sure. I was an instant fan of the Sterling 5 when it came out in 2008 - bought and sold a few - finally have a pair of them that I totally dig. I remember emailing EB/MM sales prior to the release of the Sterling 5 - saying how the Sterling is a cool bass - how about a 5 string version. I'm sure I wasn't the only one requesting this model!

yes... this place is not healthy for your credit card or personal finances. I'm getting urges to buy basses I don't need at all. I've already GOT 5 basses, but now I want more. Of course, I should probably wait until my SR5 is back from SLO.
