WOW!!!!!
I cannot believe this is my 10000th post!
Where did all the time go??? In 4.5 years, in some ways I've come to know a lot of you better than people that have surrounded me in half twice that time. Go figure.
This forum has been through its challenges and growing pains. We've seen some people come and go, we've shared in knuckleheads happy times and sad. We've collectively on more that one occassion come to the rescue of a fellow forumite in need... The list goes on and on; and no matter how you slice it, this is one of the best online communities I've ever come across. It's just a great cyber family. Not one tied by blood, but one that is bonded by the love a top notch musical guitars and basses and a great love for all music.
I've documented so much from these years by collecting an insane pic collection, and so many other things such as Open Houses, Birthday Bashes, Guitar Clinics, and just fellow forumites getting together and sharing it with us.
Though I have yet to meet so many you, which I hope the opportunity affords me some day; I have been fortunate enough to have been able to personally meet a handful of great people!
This place has been great therapy too. The laughter and information that arises here has affected me in so many great ways that I am so very thankful for. I recall when I first started coming here. There was this crazy fun energy of waking up in the middle of the night and checking in to see what kind of silly replies or rivalry had happened in the last few hours while I was asleep.
Anyways, please excuse my random rambling and recollections. It's impossible to cover all tracks here, since it's endless goodness.
So thank you for being a great bunch and reading this garb!
Now go play your guitars and basses and enjoy the main reason why we're all here!
I look forward to the next 10000 with all of you!
