Now - I promise that I am not trying to stir anything up. I am just asking a question. I thought the headstock design of the EBMM stuff (3x1 and 4x1 pegs per side) was a trademark?
I was looking at the cover of the January edition of "Bass Player" and saw Andrew Gouche holding what I thought was an EBMM bass. Headstock had the same tuners, 4 pegs on one side and one on the other, a little flip on the G string side at the top of the headstock.
But - it was not an EBMM. I had to go to another site to see the real manufacturer.
Not trying to stir anything up. I am sure that BP and company know all about this and have all well in hand. I was just curious as to what is considered "Trademark" EBMM styling. Call it a typical new guy question.
