As I mentioned in a couple of other threads; a purchase was made on Monday from the great guys at BassCentral and it came in today!!!

My wife and I drove up to Orlando to attend the EBMM Session for the 25th Anniversary Tour over this past weekend with Dave Larue, Steve Morse, Steve Lukather, John Ferrero and our own Big Papa. On Sunday we drove over to BassCentral -- I have always wanted to check out this place since I am constantly drooling over their pics online ;)

Anyway, my wife was like "you are not getting any new toys!!!" and she was firm about it! Beaver Felton, Grasshopper and Mike over at BassCentral were trying to lightly chip at her but she was not budging. So I tried out the 25th 4HSS and while I was playing it she asked "How much is that?". Next thing I know she is working out a deal with Beaver Felton and the rest is history!!!

When I asked her why she now pushed me to get it; she said it was the look on my face while I was playing it -- Now that my friends is LOVE :)

Introducing the lastest member of our EBMM Bass Family!:D

Big Papa once said "No pics, no wife" well got it all covered :)

The happy threesome :)

This bass is unbelievable. The tones are endless. Each time a pickup is selected, either single or combined, it is like having a different instrument. The Passive tones are warm and smooth. The middle pickup adds some magical mojo to the sound. In Active mode with the Pickup options, it is beyond Bongo!!! The neck is a dream to play and the body/neck balance is perfect. I am hooked on this bass.

I still love my Stingray and Bongos but this is the cream of them all. I am able to pull out Stingray, Bongo, Jbass, Pbass and more type tones out of this sweet baby. GET ONE!!! Either 25th or the production model when available.

That's a very nice thing to say, but - seriously - thank YOU. You guys contribute the vast majority of information and motivation and all of it; I just hang around and cheerlead a bit.

Which ain't a bad gig, either, really.

We do have fun, don't we?

Thanks for the congrats everyone.

I just want to say that I am really grateful to Big Papa and the team at EBMM for providing instruments that help me express the music I have inside.

This bass is a home run.

Congrats, it doesn't get any better than having the CFO put a bass deal together and bring it home through the front door. Your description sounds exactly like I was hoping, all the best.

Too cool. The bass looks great on you, and I'm betting you make it sound great.

And great to be married to someone who understands that musical instruments are more than toys! Congrats!
