Hello all, my name is dave and I'm about to officially join the ranks of ebmm owners with a vintage trem al hh. A friend told me to try one when I was actually shopping for a second prs custom 24 se at the guitar center this winter, and I couldn't believe the playability and range of tone that this guitar offered. Every single example I've played since has been a finely crafted instrument. I've since test driven jp's and axises and so forth, and they really are all great. The al is the style for me, but I could see how the mystic dream, for example, would be the best possible guitar for others. Music man/ ernie ball really makes great stuff!
Looking forward to reading up on some stuff and most of all playing my new albert lee within a couple of weeks!

Congrats Dave and welcome to the forum. I love my AL HH and something magical happened when they stuck two humbuckers into that ax for sure. I never seen any other guitar that has been around as long as the AL get hit with a few minor tweaks, and then just start flying off the rack the way this ax has the last two years.

The day has finally come... sorry for the low quality/weird angles of the pics, i was trying to capture the sparkles in the paint job. Can someone tell me what this color is officially called? I know it must be a GC thing, since this guitar has the coil tap as well.
For some reason, this guitar sat at one of my local GC's for a year and a half...and it was the only al there. I first played them in a nashville music store and totally fell in love. I came home and decided to start saving up, and boom! here this one was in town, and no one bought it week after week as i steadily visited it. My first post on here reflected putting it on layaway.
This instrument is so well built, I can't see anything these guys make being bad. I'm blown away.

Welcome to the forum - especially as you have bought an AL.

I can't see the pics at the mo -(I'm in work and they're blocked). I'll be sure to check them out when I get home.
