Another beauty I couldn't live without......

Well, I've been having a urge to get another 5 string for about a month now and decided to go for check some local shops after I left work today. I ended up coming across this little beauty at GC and decided to pick it up and take a closer look. I saw it a couple weeks ago but it really didn't look too much at it since I was really looking for something in a solid color. When I took it off the wall I noticed that it had alot of birdseye in the neck, and even under the finish of the headstock. Once I saw this I couldn't resist,......(especially when my wife mentioned...."it was pretty"). I knew then that it was okay to pony up the dough. So, I brought her home, and here she is......

Very nice... I usually don't like white pick guards but it looks GREAT on that baby! The figuring on the neck is beautiful and gives me them good kind-o-pains (the GAS-y ones).

Thanks guys.... I am truly loving it so far.... I think it has to be one of the sexiest Stingray basses I have ever seen. Especially with the black logo on the headstock.

I think this one may be with me for awhile since I learned years ago that everytime I sold a MUSICMAN I regretted it. Still, if it ever comes up I will give you first dibs on it.

The finish, matching headstock, white pickup cover, and figuring throughout the neck combine in a gorgeous bass.

Just my opinion, but a white pearloid pickguard would make it look even better.

I'm not a fan of the Pearloid pickguards. Although I really wouldn't mind finding a White Ice one.......
