Well - the Sterling is sold, apparently, and the Bongo 4 string will be on its way next week.

I saw the natural Sterling on eBay and while it was certainly nice, as are all Sterlings, I never thought natural was a "rare" finish. It never ceases to surprise me how people word their eBay ads to try and pump up the price. I suppose I should have made more of the "rare, discontinued, hard to find, no longer available" white sparkle finish, eh? Heh heh.

In any case, I'm glad to be getting the second Bongo. I played the fiver last night and even in a biker bar full of jaded old drunks and old Texas blues players, the tone of that bass attracted more than a few comments.
