Hey Guys,
I've had an HH Bongo for about two months now and I am still getting used to the eq. A little goes a long way that's for sure! I stumbled across this video of Dave La Rue, absolutely shredding. My question is, does it sound like he's favoring the bridge pickup(with the pan control) during this video and boosting the low mids? I know he is using a HS but I would like to get somewhere near that tone. I know I know tone is in the fingers, but that Bongo must be helping just a little! Any thoughts?
Thanks in Advance,
Brent

I don't know. I run mine with the eq flat, pan centered, and it sounds pretty similar to that...minus the fingers :D. Also, it sounds like what you are hearing is direct. It sounds a little more dry than if you were actually hearing his amp.
