I have been sipping adult beverages and playing a little bass tonight -- the wife and new baby are in bed. I played my F@##$! jazz for a while and began to think this is really a cool bass, until I pulled out my 92 Ray... Wow! I really should not play them both on the same night. The Ray smokes the Jazz, and this is a pretty good Jazz bass (I've had a bunch over the years, so I should know). Every note on the ray is loud and clear, this thing just screams :) I can't believe Fender can get away with selling their American Basses at a grand plus.

In conclusion, God bless BP, God bless, EB, and God bless Jack Williams :) Sterling for president!

Nah, God bless you guys - seriously.

This is the most fun a person can have with his/her clothes on.

No bevies tonight, but about three solid hours in the bass chair with the following c.d.'s:

Doobie Bro's - Captain and Me
Yellowjackets - self-titled
Madness - Rise and Fall
Four Tops - Millenium Collection
Jaco - Word of Mouth Revisited

I don't know about my own abilities, but there's nothing the Bongo can't handle!

Playing Fs and EBs back to back really puts things into perspective.
