Give this guy credit, it does appear to have a bad copy of a Silo Spec sort of pickguard...

Claims its an EBMM guitar body

It's pretty common. I don't know the story of this guy, but I called on one listed in the Western Mass craigslist. It said only Ernie Ball Musicman Guitar in excellent condition. No price. I called. He described the guitar. Included in the description was the inscription on the headstock OLP. I believe he had an OLP Benji copy from his description. I said thank you and ended the call. I've since seen it relisted with the added description that it is an over $1000 guitar. I paid about $100 for mine used.....and sold it later about the same.

I've got to think that these guys get them as payment or something and have no idea what they are. They Google Ernie Ball Musicman and get all giddy that they have a real SLO guitar.

I emailed him and told him it is no Music Man. He emailed back with "Now why would you say that?" I wrote back saying, because I know and own MM guitars, and that isn't one. Then I included this thread link. Looks like it's made no difference. He now KNOWS it's fake.

.....and let's be honest it's probably worth $99 as a starter guitar.....doesn't look like it fooled anyone.
