Another Music Man guitar in the Marty Friedman contest

Twas a lot of fun… Song has a few deceptively difficult changes. I wanted to approach it in the jazz idea of playing over chord changes but I didn't want to go all arpeggio crazy, so I thought tapping out some chords would be kinda cool and Van Halenish in a song that is pretty darn modern sounding.

I liked it a lot. I love tapping! It should be used sparingly and and you did just that! I for one tap the crap out of songs, its probably one of the more fun techniques out there, especially when you got the hang of it. Excellent stuff!

When I tap its normally more across the strings a la Nuno or a less ever ending Reb Beach thing. Initially I heard as picked arpeggios but I started hearing the moving chords and knew I had no idea how to do them without tapping so the Van Halen thing came out.
