Another newbie here

Just found this place and it looks like a nice place to hang. I am 44yrs old, a husband to a great wife and a father to a great daughter (16yrs old). I have been playing bass for 30yrs and, even though I don't make much money at it, I consider playing my passion. I work as a chef/certified dietary manager in a health care facility and I like my work and I consider myself a lucky man on just about area I can think of (except I look a little like Tony Soprano). I am currently playing in three different bands; a Blues/R&B band, a funk/jazz/Latin cover band and an original jazz fusion group, plus, I play at church. It is nice to see some familiar names here and I hope to be able to get some good bass info plus contribute to this forum. Viva la Bongo!!!!

-Some might consider this a good thing. I wish my bass player looked like a soprano. Our band would be taken a lot more seriously.
