Albert Lee sent this to me. I remember this vividly. It was a postcard that my Dad made and he would send it out to people to thank them for lessons, or purchases...send them to customers he hadn't seen in awile I think it is 62 or early 63

Nice. Ernie Ball was a handsome man. (And not just because he is standing in front of a big ass wall of guitars. :) )

BP- thank you so much for being so transparent with your life and sharing these discoveries of your father with us. It's so awesome that the foundation that was laid by your father has transcended so many generations and genres over the years and that even today the Ernie Ball name is a representation of class and quiality. I'm sure he would be extremely proud of the way you and your sons have continued the legacy and continue to push the envelope of what is possible.

and just to think... it all started with Strings!

Wow - cool pic,

Your dad had an impressive stock....

Not getting into the details or promoting other brands but in 63 I'm guessing it would have attracted a fair a crowd...?

Also good to see the same whiteboard with holes punched in it the world over ! - Every music store at one time or another had that with hooks!

Thanks for the share.

This picture is stellar. BP, you've taken the company to great heights and I guarantee your dad is looking down on you with great pride.
