I think black with almost any color of pickguard is great. Moonstone, abalone, white pearl, black pearl. Even the new gold swirl would look good, IMHO.

Go ahead, order one. You can't go wrong. Heck, even if you don't like the pickguard color, you can buy another pickguard. It's the beauty of the Silo/Silo Special. Almost infinite customization.

In fact, in honor of my favorite Christmas movie, "I triple-dog dare you" to order a Silo Special!!! (Now you HAVE to do it!!)

It's called joking around fellas, holy donkeynuts, does anyone in this forum joke around?

Calling donkeynuts holy is NOT funny!

Hotdamn is a more PC way of exclaiming something than saying... well... you know, the "G__ d__" words.

Kidding. I never did understand a God with such a fragile sense of self, anyway.

Anyhoo, that black and abalone looks rockin'!

I, for one, am absolutely offended. If that title isn't changed in the next 24 hours you guys might as well say goodbye to me as I will never post here again. I literally cannot believe something like this is being tolerated and my most sincere and heartfelt sympathies goes out to all of you for having to have endured this. If there is anything that I can do to help with this horrible and shameful display of vulgarity, please, let me know. Be strong everyone, this isn't the worst thing that has happened around here so we know that we can survive. Peace to all of you if that is possible.
Congratulations to you on your 100th post! :)

I think editing titles is a moderator job but I'm not sure. I am another vote for would have liked to see a different adjective.
That black abalone is a stunner and I look forward to seeing which guitar you order.

I had a chat with my wife, who's American, about this thread. In the US g'damn is seen as a strong word by many, yet over here in the UK not so much. There are many words like this that are "ruder" in certain geographical regions, I could get away with saying g'damn in front of my parents but not "turd" for example! Menvafaan is from Sweden so maybe the same applies up there, doesnt make it wrong, doesnt make it right but don't jump on him! Either way, let's get back to the guitars...
