Another serial number question

Curious about a build date for my Musicman serial #28407.
It's a black body, black pick guard, maple neck, 2 band EQ, 4 bolt neck fixing.

Now used for jamming and small local gigs, it could previously have been found on tour with Buzzcocks during 1999-2001,

i would pass it along. Normally we do not have the day, just month and year.
