I've made another multi-layered recording with my 2006 LE Sterling! You may remember me posting this one a while ago: Cathodic Narcotic

This one is substantially shorter, and is aptly titled "Forty-Three Seconds".

Forty Three Seconds

Everything there is Sterling. Enjoy, and please give me feedback!

Graeme

P.S. Please excuse the poor sound quality.

Thanks for the comments, I appreciate it.

The violin sounds are just volume swells (with the Sterling's volume knob - I can't afford a pedal!), which I harmonized. Then I added some distortion in my recording program.

And yes, the new Rush record has me very excited. When they come to Toronto, I'm gonna try to get front row seats, no matter what the cost. Maybe Geddy could sign my bass! ;)

Like one of those things for the guitar that mimicks the sound of bowing or like a real bow? I've tried a real bow on my Bongo once. It sounded awesome, but it was hard to bow each string individually cuz of the radius. Let us know how that works out! :D

i hear ya' there........gonna try it on the acoustic tonight actually....little more arc on that bridge.

i've just strictly dialed in the G string........all the notes are there,it's a matter of....hand and arm speed i guess.......i'm no "bowist" by any means but........it is fun to dink around with.
